Investments made by the&nbsp;<strong>1 January 2026 to 30 September 2028<\/strong>&nbsp;They will have access to one&nbsp;<strong>increase in the tax-recognised cost up to 180%<\/strong>, in accordance with the conditions laid down in the legislation and depending on the type and size of the investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What investments can be included in the measure?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Transition Plan 5.0 mainly concerns two categories of investments:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Technological and digital assets<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New tangible and intangible assets intended for the technological and digital transformation of the undertaking, including those provided for in&nbsp;<strong>Annexes IV and V<\/strong>, provided that they comply with the requirements for interconnection to business systems or the supply network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Investments include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>advanced machines and production facilities;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>automation and control systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eligible software and digital platforms;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>integrated and interconnected solutions in production processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Self-production of energy from renewable sources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The measure also includes investments for the production of renewable energy for farm self-consumption, including possible storage systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Included are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>installations for the production of renewable energy;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>energy storage systems;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>solutions tailored to the needs of the production structure;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>goods that comply with the technical requirements laid down in the legislation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How does the surcharge work?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The allowance varies according to the amount of the investment:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Up to \u20ac2.5 million<\/strong><br>Add-on until&nbsp;<strong>180%<\/strong>&nbsp;of the subsidizable cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Over 2.5 million and up to 10 million euros<\/strong><br>Add-on until&nbsp;<strong>100%<\/strong>&nbsp;in excess of the first tier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Over 10 million and up to 20 million euros<\/strong><br>Add-on until&nbsp;<strong>50%<\/strong>&nbsp;on the excess share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The percentage actually applicable must be assessed on a case-by-case basis on the basis of the goods purchased, the technical requirements, the level of interconnection and the documentation available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>From project to
