The adjustment path

From risk assessment to intervention: Each stage has a specific goal.

The adaptation of a machine does not end with the installation of a protection or the replacement of a component. We need first of all understand what are the critical issues, what requirements must be met and what interventions are really necessary.

Progesto starts from the analysis of the machine and its conditions of use, considering the applicable requirements, including, where relevant, those provided by the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and/or requirements for use of Annex V to Legislative Decree No 81/2008. From here a shared intervention path with production and maintenance is defined.

Risk and non-compliance analysis

We evaluate the condition of the machine, the methods of use and the risks present for identify non-conformities and define precisely where action is needed.

Design of interventions

Solutions are defined by comparison with production and maintenance. The design considers effectiveness of the adjustment, sustainability of the intervention and continuity of production.

Implementation of the adjustment

We follow the implementation and installation of the interventions mechanical, electrical and electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic, verifying at the end the correct functioning and the safety conditions achieved.

Compliance and documentation

After the intervention we update and prepare the technical documentation necessary to describe the modifications made and demonstrate the conformity of the machinery.

Safety must continue even after adaptation

Technically adequate machinery must be used, controlled and maintained in the correct way. For this reason, the path continues with the management of residual risks, the training of operators and the organization of maintenance activities.

Changes made to the machine can change procedures, accesses and operating modes. For this reason, we update the necessary information and support the operators in the correct use of the machine after the intervention.

Maintain compliance over time

Adjustment should not remain an isolated intervention. Periodic checks, tracked maintenance and documentation always available allow the safety conditions achieved to be maintained over time.

Scheduled management also helps to identify new critical issues in a timely manner and to organize interventions without losing control over the state of the equipment.
